Round 2 Shady and Costal 9th – 10th April 2022

Fishing is downstream from the Shady Camp tidal ramp to the coast. The coastal Boundary will be from Marsh Creek to the Wildman River.


At the time of writing Shady Camp Barrage is not an all tide launch.  Approximate tides at the ramp as noted on Willy Weather are as follows:

Plan accordingly, and make sure you take care as the road out to Shady Camp is not in good condition and if you are tired stop and rest.

Fishing is from 6am Saturday until 6pm Sunday.  Results for this Round to be uploaded to the website by 6pm on Monday 11th April 2022 unless a prior arrangement has been made.

The results visible on the web will be provisional until photo returns have been checked. The organizers will have the final decision on the measurement of the fish based on the photos supplied.

You can measure fish on a brag mat or similar measurement device. Make sure the mouth of your fish is closed and the score card is visible in the photo.

Register your best 5 Barra, 50cm and over. Once you have your 5 fish you can upgrade by dropping off your smallest one. Please observe the local personnel possession limits and other relevant regulations.

Competitor boats with VHF radios please use channel 72 to communicate with other anglers,

Photos of people catching fish, boats out on the water, action shots, landscapes, wildlife and people holding fish are all important to us for media purposes. If you have taken a few good shots and are happy for them to be used, would you please email them to on Monday or by Tuesday night at the latest.

The Round Score Card will be available on the website and will be sent out by email on Wednesday 6th April 2022
