Round 4 Information: Mary River Billabongs

Date: August 14/15

Times: Start time 6am Saturday August 14, finish time Sunday August 15 @ 6pm

Where: Corrobboree, Rockhole, Hardies, Mary River Bridge Lagoon, and Shady Fresh (Fresh Water side of the barrage only) In the past 99% of people fished in Corrobboree and the Rockhole.

There is another iconic top end sports fish that lives in our Top End Billabongs, and it seems only fair that they are recognised, so we have 3 prizes for the best three Saratoga. So please send them in on a brag mat for scoring as well.

Camping: There is a great camping spot at the Rockhole, and also there is nearbye camping and accommodation Mary River Park, Bark Hutt Inn and Corrobboree Park Tavern.

As we head into round 3 leading the series with 518 points is Kyle Chin, Ben Mclean is in second with 457 points, and in third is Shane Moon with 417 points.

Scoring:

Fishing is from 6am Saturday until 6pm Sunday.  Results for Round 4 need to be in by 1pm on Monday 15th August unless a prior arrangement has been made.

Please use the upload facility on the tebs.fish website.  If you do experience any difficulty with uploading your fish to the website please use the option of emailing to competitors2016@tebs.fish as the last resort for this Round.  The results on the web will be provisional until we have checked them out and notify everyone officially. Official Provisional scores will come out on Wednesday.

LURES: It would be great if you could put the effort into telling us what lures your fish were caught on when uploading your images in the comments sections as this would be good feedback to hand send back to our lure sponsors.

 

Photographing Fish. Make sure mouth is closed or as close to to closed as you can get.

When photographing your fish on the measure device ensure the mouth is closed and the round card is next to the fish. Clear photos make it easier for point score verification. Fish will be adjusted by scorers accordingly if mouth is opened.

Fish will be sized down to the centimetre. For example, if the fish is between 58.00 to 58.9cm it will be scored at 58cm. If the fish is 57.9 or below it will be a 57cm.
