Round 2 – Shady and Coastal 18th – 19th March 2023

Times: Start time 6am Saturday 18th March lines out 6pm Sunday 19th March

At the time of writing Shady Camp Barrage is an all-tide launch.

Plan, accordingly, and make sure you take care as the road out to Shady Camp will likely be wet and slippery where road conditions will vary. If you are tired stop and rest!!!

Round Card: The Round 1 scorecard will be sent out on Thursday 16th March and will also be on the TEBS website on that day.

Photographing Fish. The year sees the introduction of the standard measurement board utilising the Measurement stickers provided in your entry pack. Usage of a non-approved measuring board for registering your catch will not be accepted. Make sure the mouth of your fish is closed and the score card is visible in the photo.

Measuring. Please remember that fish will be sized down to the centimetre. For example, if the fish is between 58.00 to 58.9cm it will be scored at 58cm.

Scoring: Results for Round 1 need to be uploaded by 6pm on Monday 20th March 2023

The results on the web will be provisional until checked. Results will be out on Friday 24th March

Register your best 5 Barra, 50cm and over. Once you have your 5 fish you can upgrade by dropping off your smallest one. Please observe the local personal possession limits and other relevant regulations.

Photos: Please send through any high-resolution photos of competitors holding fish as well as any other good shots for use in media. When uploading images to your Facebook page, Instagram please tag the Top End Barra Series or TEBS Fella’s pages so our social media coordinator and journalist Regis Martin and Kieran Chin are able to capture and post on our page.

There is a Reidy’s Lure pack up for grabs for the best story posted to Socials from the weekend. Just tag the Top End Barra Series or TEBS Fella’s pages to be in the running. Winners will be announced at the round 1-2 presentations.

Competitor boats with VHF radios please use channel 72 to communicate with other anglers.
